In the tabs you will find the details of the two novels I currently have substantial progress on. One of which is already published.

The idea of writing a book has fascinated me since closing the last page of the first novel I read, and thinking in my innocent youthful mind, that I'd just imbibed an entire world that didn't actually exist.

I was enthralled by the concept that the entirety of this creation - from characters to obstacles, enemies and dangers, peaks and troughs - were all purely a conjuration from the mind of another human, just like me. I knew I wanted to do the same, even if the task itself seemed to be well beyond me.

Even when choosing what to study at university, I kept the idea that novel-writing was far out of the reach of someone like me, so I didn't quite take in to account the possibility that not only could I try my hand at writing, but complete, and juggle multiple projects in due time.

My acting course soon had me writing extracurricular scripts for students in the years above, and the success of these validated me enough to even attempt novel-writing. After a lot of introspective battering, stress and unnecessary breakdowns, I worked through draft, and draft and draft... until deleting all of it and starting again. But then, soon, I had my first novel finished.

Using the experience and discipline I gained from that, I began my next novel Nerham, which I think is evidence that I've grown massively as an author from my first foray in to the world of literature (check the tabs for yourself)! Though I like both works, The Catalyst is First Person and a lot more personable, whereas the scale of Nerham surpasses that viewpoint, and even now, I'm so proud of myself for persevering.

I now have a long list of novels that I wish to complete in the course of my life, and that list is constantly finding new additions that spark in to life without warning, as well as the current items slowly being fleshed out as my mind races ahead of itself. I sincerely cannot wait to keep extending my work, and hopefully creating enough pieces so that everyone can enjoy something I've authored.

My dream is that one day, a book I write can inspire a young, impressionable mind, too. And my story of self-doubt, and perseverance will have them writing a similar text, hoping their work will be accessed by an audience.

Good luck to them... and to me!
