This is going to be short and brief, you can read about the trials and tribulations of my life - ferocious dragons slew, handsome princes rescued, a kingdom in peace - if I ever take it upon myself to produce a memoir.  But as my kingdom is still being constructed*, I'd rather you spent the time flicking through the SHORT STORIES tab - infinitely more interesting, I'd say.

At present, I'm 28 years old and my love for language and literature has found me working temporarily in Japan (UK is my permanent residency and I will be returning in April); teaching the language to students. Though, in my spare time I'm to be found at the only cafe in my little countryside town working on some project or another. As my schedule over here has been a little tighter than usual - and the fact that it was only a brief placement - I've focused a lot on writing short stories, which mercifully command less time to plan, write and edit, whilst simultaneously letting me sustain my discipline, feed my hunger for researching anything and everything, and most importantly, continue to grow as a writer.

When I'm not doing those, I'm working on 'ghost writing' a project for my grandfather, who had a brilliant idea but not quite the skill to flesh it out - thus, the grandson has been asked to turn it in to a novel, and is focusing on that before returning to his own major projects. Please check the EDITING tab to find the process of this.

Prior to Japan, I lived in London (moving from Liverpool at 21), which is were the majority of my writing took off. I've had no official writing education, so everything I've produced has come from pure trial and error, gut instinct, what I've gleaned as inspiration from the endless materials I've read, video games and a sheer sense of guilt and ennui if I'm not currently working on something.

London saw the publication of my first novel, The Catalyst, by GBPublishing. As well as the majority of my next trilogy, Nerham, nearing completion. Please check the NOVELS tab to find the first chapter of both of these works.

Aside from the novel format, I've written and had performed various theatre scripts, as well as having been commissioned to write a few for others, who had the ideas but not the writing wherewithal to execute them. I've been incredibly lucky that these have been met with great feedback, and has allowed me to juggle both mediums comfortably.

To a lesser extent, as creating material is my passion, I've tutored, proof-read and edited numerous works of varying magnitudes; from websites, to excerpts, to scripts, to other novels - and to be honest, as long as I'm working with literature, and helping augment the ability of others, or bolstering a piece, I'm very much in my happy place. Oh, and a latte on top of that? Nerd Nirvana!

Should you wish to contact me in regards to reading some of your work, please, please, please feel free to hit the CONTACT tab, and just send a message about what the project is, in what capacity you'd want me to approach it, and what you expect from working with me! All the boring stuff can be discussed after we agree to move forward with it.

Thank you for reading.

I promise, the fiction on here is vastly more entertaining.

Best,

Bradley :)

*I must disclose that I don't actually have a kingdom in construction, nor do I ever expect to fight dragons and save any prince, handsome or not. Consider it a weak metaphor to justify keeping this About Me brief... I'd be a fantastic king, though.
